A Visit To The Pumpkin Patch

We went for a visit to the Peltzer Pumpkin Patch again this year. They do such a nice job and we had a good time. Pumpkins galore, with lots of different varieties, too many for us to choose from - Miss E kept adding her 'favorites' to the wagon when we weren't looking! They also had pony rides, so you know where we headed first. Then we visited the little petting zoo (with healthy, active animals), went to the pig races (yes you heard right) and went for a jaunt through the corn maze. The only thing we didn't do, which upset Miss E to no end, was go for a ride around the winery on their 'train'. She got over it once we left, plus we were able to save $5 a person - the only rip-off at the patch this year.
